Cancellation and Privacy Policy
Deposits
Stays of 3 nights or less require 100% pre-payment. Stays of more than 3 nights require a 50% deposit. The balance is due upon arrival. Payment may be made with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.
Cancellations
Due to our size, cancellations affect us significantly. For any cancellation, we must receive 7 days notice prior to your confirmed arrival for a refund of your deposit, less a 15% administration fee. Refunds will not be made for early departures. Groups of 4 or more rooms, require a 45 day notice prior to your confirmed arrival date for a refund of your deposit, less a 15% administration fee. Travel Insurance Link Below.
Special events are non-refundable.
In the event you booked via a third party travel agent i.e. Expedia, Booking.com or Airbnb, please refer to their individual cancellation policies.
Rates, Taxes & Gratuities
Rates do not include an 17% Indiana room occupancy tax and are subject to change without prior notice. Gratuities for the housekeeping staff are not included in the room rate. Seasonal demand/special events may affect minimum night stay requirements.
Maximum Room Occupancy
Most of our guest rooms are limited to a maximum occupancy of 2 guests. An additional fee of $25/person/night regardless of age applies for additional guest beyond double occupancy. If you are traveling with a larger party, we’re happy to book multiple rooms for your stay if available.
Pets
Stone Soup Inn strictly does not allow pets, except for the use of a service animal by a person with a disability. Proper documentation required.
Non-Smoking
Stone Soup Inn is an 100% non-smoking property, including outdoor areas. A $250 cleaning fee will be imposed on any room where guests have smoked with disregard for our policy.

Travel Insurance
We realize that cancellations are often beyond your personal control. For this reason we recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind. Guest Responsibility
While accidents do happen, guests will be financially responsible for damage due to gross negligence.
